Privacy Policy

At DAGR Tech, your privacy comes first. We design our routers to give you a secure, private internet experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information needed to operate and improve our products:

  • Device Data (On-Device Only):
    • The router processes network traffic locally to block ads, trackers, and malicious activity.
    • Information about network behavior (e.g., visited domains, IP addresses) is never sent to DAGR Tech and remains only on your device.
  • Optional Account Information:
    • If you choose to create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and login credentials.
    • Accounts are optional and not required to use the router.
  • Metrics & Statistics:
    • We may collect anonymized, non-identifiable metrics such as the number of ads or trackers blocked.
    • These statistics cannot be linked back to individual users.
  • Purchase Information:
    • If you buy directly from us, we may collect basic order details (e.g., shipping and billing information).

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and maintain router functionality.
  • To improve device performance and features (e.g., on-device machine learning models).
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To send product updates or security notices, if you have opted in.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All network data remains stored locally on your router.
  • Aggregated statistics (like ad counts) may be collected, but these are non-identifiable.
  • If you create an account, your personal information will be securely stored in the United States.
  • We use encryption and access controls to protect any stored data.

4. Optional VPN Integration

  • If you choose to enable VPN integration, your data will be routed through a third-party VPN provider.
  • Any data handled by a VPN provider will be subject to that provider’s privacy policy.
  • VPN usage is optional and not required to use the router.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain privacy rights, including:

  • The right to request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • The right to opt out of certain uses of your information.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@damngoodrouters.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our products or legal requirements evolve. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Effective Date.”
